  1. Attention: Biju Mathew or anyone on the Iron and Steal team who visited Keonjhar or Sundergarh.

I am an independent documentary filmmaker based in Mumbai. I found Iron and Steal to be a really well done and important report.

I am traveling to Bhubhaneshwar on June 21, 2011 to make a comprehensive film on the Posco issue and am in touch with Prashant Paikray of PPSS. I hope that the film will be useful to raise awareness of the struggle against Posco, and also be a source of inspiration to other people’s struggles going on in India.

An important component of the film is the mining land being gifted to Posco in Keonjhar and Sundergarh districts. I would like to visit the villages that will be affected, to show how the tribal people will be dispossessed.

I would greatly appreciate if you could guide me to get in touch with the correct people in the area, and the villages that I should visit. Telephone numbers will be highly appreciated. This is a one woman show, relying on local help.

    Thank you
